Both of my multicultural professors were Korean (one Korean born) so I think it really helped to have a first person account of it all. Like, for the sake of all of you lol, it’s better if our education is diverse.
It just makes us better able to understand everyone. Even in the U.S. the statistics are pretty staggering. Like a huge percentage of minorities don’t continue with their therapy after like the first session. It’s a matter of education in every culture, really. It’s up to people to pass along the message, that hey, it’s okay to talk to someone. If you don’t like them, tell them to find someone else for you.
