  1. i srsly wonder what does GD spend his money on

    heyhellohoney:

    tabi bought a house

gd is so much richer (i think)

but there’s nothing no reports of him buying any property etc

    :O

maybe he wants to save up for his future family

    pamper his wife

    make her a money-blanket

    hm ok

Tabi makes more because of acting. Actors in general make more money than anyone across the industry and because of that, his worth as an idol is also bigger. So to hire him, would take a lot $$$.

Ji has a lot of money because of copyright, but let me try to explain how this works because some of you seem to think that he is a billionaire because of copyright.

Let’s say that he gets like…fuck what would it be in Korea…less than the U.S. and I’m too lazy to google so…let’s put it like 7 or 8 cents. In the U.S. it’s around 9 if I recall correctly.

So do the math, sell 400,000 copies of an album. Each album has several songs written by him BUT if he shares writing credit let’s say with TOP, he would have to split the money. Do you see how that works?

So the 28,000 dollars (let’s use dollars for reference) that he would be getting for one song (in a year), would have to be split. That is, if he sells that amount in less than a year. When the new year starts the price per song can fluctuate.

Also, contract clauses can mean that he might be giving up a percentage to YG as well for housing, other expenses etc.

He wouldn’t be working half as hard sponsoring shit left and right etc if he could maintain his lifestyle with just copyright money.

The numbers you get from the press are raw. The character G-Dragon can make 2 million dollars a year but he probably sees about 40-60% of that, if that.

That has been your business lesson for today fellow VIPS.
